Mobile Application Developer
Work tasks:
- Analyze information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications of an existing system;
- Program animation software to predefined specifications for interactive video games, Internet and mobile applications;
- Write, modify, integrate and test software code for e-commerce, Internet and mobile applications;
- Develop, implement, modify and maintain gameplay features that integrate effectively into existing software;
- Write documentation for new and updated software.
Core requirements:
- Post-secondary degree in Computer Science or related field, or a combination of relevant education;
- Experience in mobile application development involving various languages;
- Knowledge of software and application design principles and architecture;
- The ability to work within the programming languages: Python, JavaScript, Java, C#, React, etc. with proficiency in at least one.
Data Scientist
Work tasks:
- Perform large-scale experimentation to identify hidden relationships between variables in large datasets;
- Create advanced machine learning algorithms such as regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, decision trees and , neural networks;
- Prepare and extract data using a programming language;
- Implement new statistical, machine learning, or other mathematical methodologies to solve specific business problems;
- Visualize data in a way that allows a business to quickly draw conclusions and make decisions;
- Develop artificial intelligence models and algorithms and implement them to meet the needs of
- the organization.
Core requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, computer systems engineering or a related discipline or completion of a college program;
- Proficiency in using one or more programming or scripting languages to work with data such as: Python, Perl, R or C#;
- Some experience and or project course work performing data analysis and applying statistics working with tools such as: Excel, R studio, MATLAB, AMPL, or SAS.
